Rising Deku and the other Deku forms
All's Justice lists several Izuku Midoriya fighters as separate roster slots, not as costumes on one character. Izuku Midoriya Rising is the story-locked final-war slot. Izuku Midoriya Overlay Full Style arrived later as Season Pass downloadable content, and the Early Unlock Pack does not include it. No source checked here gives a damage chart that ranks these Deku slots against each other.
Six listings, six cards
The count below follows the English character page plus the Japanese character cards, which use stable image folders from izuku_midoriya-01 through izuku_midoriya-06. Only the Rising card, on the Japanese page, prints an unlock condition. The other base cards do not. That silence is not proof they are all available at the first boot, but they are not flagged the way Rising is.
Izuku Midoriya (One For All)
Japanese card: 緑谷出久 ワン・フォー・オール. Yellow scarf, dark suit, glowing eyes. No story-clear note on the card.
Izuku Midoriya (Shoot Style)
Japanese card: 緑谷出久 シュートスタイル. A kicking pose in the teal hero suit. Listed separately from One For All.
Izuku Midoriya Full Cowling 100%
Japanese card: 緑谷出久 フルカウル100%. Torn costume and a mouth guard. Version 3.00 tunes this slot on its own, including Quirk Skill 1 shockwave notes.
Izuku Midoriya
The English page lists an Izuku Midoriya with no extra subtitle. The Japanese card is simply 緑谷出久. The art is the teal suit with the tall white collar, distinct from the scarf costume and from Rising.
Izuku Midoriya Rising
Japanese card: 緑谷出久 ライジング. The Quirk label on this card reads One For All. Unlock is Story Mode, or the Early Unlock Pack. Voice credit on the card: Daiki Yamashita.
Izuku Midoriya Overlay Full Style
Japanese card: 緑谷出久 オーバーレイフルスタイル, marked as DLC. Publisher news names Blackchain and Delaware Smash for this fighter. Not part of the Rising unlock.
What "separate" means in the patch notes
Version 3.00 does not treat these as one moveset with a palette swap. The 7 May 2026 balance notes have their own lines for Izuku Midoriya, for Izuku Midoriya One For All, for Izuku Midoriya Full Cowl 100%, and for Izuku Midoriya Rising. The Rising lines are short: Plus Ultra ending lag went up, and aerial Quirk Skill 4 chase was set to the same performance as Full Cowling 100%'s skill. That sentence links two slots without merging them. It says one aerial property was aligned. It does not say the rest of the kit matches.
Full Cowling 100%'s own notes talk about ground and aerial shockwaves on Quirk Skill 1, charged versions, and knockdown timing on Quirk Skill 4. One For All's notes talk about damage on Quirk Skills 1 through 4, including a holding part and a kicking part on Quirk Skill 2 while Rising, the state, is active. Those details belong to those slots. They are not reprinted here as Rising Deku's command list.
Overlay Full Style is a later fighter
On 3 September 2026 Bandai Namco Europe announced Izuku Midoriya Overlay Full Style as the third Season Pass character. The American announcement describes the same release: available then on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam, and on Nintendo Switch 2 when that version launched on 4 September 2026. Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition, and Season Pass owners receive the character. It can also be bought on its own, and the notices say to avoid buying it twice.
The press text says he fights with Blackchain and Delaware Smash, and calls the style his most advanced in that announcement. That is publisher marketing for the DLC fighter. It is not a measured comparison against Izuku Midoriya Rising, and it is not a tier placement. Story Mode also has a chapter titled "Overlay," a two-fight battle at 21-4 in the Japanese index, before "WE ARE HERE." A story chapter with that title is not the same thing as owning the downloadable character.
How to choose without a fake tier list
- Pick Izuku Midoriya Rising when you want the final-war slot and you have cleared the story or own the Early Unlock Pack.
- Pick another base Deku listing when that slot is what you want on the team before the finale. Their cards do not carry Rising's unlock note.
- Pick Overlay Full Style when you own the Season Pass or the individual character. The pack that early-unlocks Rising Deku does not grant him.
The English cast page on the series wiki credits Justin Briner as Izuku Midoriya for All's Justice. The Japanese cards credit Daiki Yamashita on the Deku slots, including Rising. Neither source prints a winner among the forms. For the battle plan once Rising is selected, use the moves overview and the Free Battle tips.
